Well, me and ADTerminal were doing one of our IMRPs, and I came up with an awesome magic system/language thingeh. See, there was this ancient race called the Revinants, who spoke a special language, and were maaaagiiiiiic. They looked just like humans, but they could do things humans could never do. They could simply speak in their language, and do magical things. The language isn't anywhere near done, but it's pretty basic stuff in here. And something which makes it very simple, is that anything backwards, means it's opposite. The Revinants had a strange bond with dragons, which I haven't quite figured out yet, but one thing I know, is that dragons speak Revinant. Here's the dictionary so far: Northern Dialect
Carash - Air Icsta - Shield Tarak – Me Karat – You Grig – Want Girg - Make Drako - Dragon Terra - Fire Calkaz – Push Ecstara – Magic Dirge – Evil Kyig – Why Drig – Close Jink – See Knij – Blind Kye – No Eyk - Yes
--
Western Dialect
Magic
Telekarack - Teleport Flarikus - Fire Crimshi - Water Crimli - Ice Crimulikus - Heal Graskus - Levitate Edrakus - Summon
Basic Words
Verno - I Vernum - He Vernia - She Vernostic - They Verngum - We Rulam - Was Ruke - Are Rustaf - Will Rustrake or Telestrake - Going Telezam - Left Telel - Travel Crim - Good Kaalken - Evil Drigant - Neutral

Yes, this IMRP is great.
It's quite a complicated system, but you can easily create your own spells. (Ex. Icsta Carash Ecstara Tarak)

This reminds me of the Magic system used by Maya in Legia 2:Dual Sagas. Except theres only Fire, Water, Earth, and Thunder. And shes mute for half the game, but thats a differant story entierly. Anywewt, when you attack with her, you fill a combat bar with the differant elements in differant orders to make specific spells. Its just like the Physical Arts system used in both Legia 2 by the other characters, and all the characters in Legend of Legia.

Hey guys! That's awesome that you've managed to start your own dictionary. I've been trying to piece together bits of the Ancient Language (for one of my stories) for years... Have you come up with any pronunciation rules yet? I only ask because of the words 'Carash' and 'Calkaz'. It the 'C' an 's' or a 'k' sound? And does it change depending on orientation in a word? Because of my experience with Sindarin 'c' s are like 'k' s.... Sorry, tangent! ^^; Keep me updated with your dictionary!!

Yeah, this is the most primitive language, and they don't do much fancy stuff. Normal speech between two people sounds like, "Me get rope. You make raft. We go river." But there are actually several languages spread out across the many areas, and another one I'm working on actually has words like "I", "you", "she", "her", "mine", "the", "to", etc. etc.
Mainly, in this particular dialect, the "C"s are usually pronounced as "K"s, and in almost all of the dialects, you roll the "R"s.
So I'll be updating this one, and adding multiple others. So stay tuned!
Edit: There's the new dialect, with some awesome changes.
