IC:
Drake was sitting at a lunch table all by himself, huddled over a piece of paper with a pencil. He was writing something extremely personal, which he knew he would never show to anyone, but it made him feel like he was making progress.
Dear Cindy, You may not have ever noticed me, because not many people do, but I'm Drake, from school. I was hoping that, maybe, we could go to the prom together, if you wanted. Maybe I could rent a limo or something, and then pick you up. Prom is in a few weeks, so please call my cell phone at 762-6864. Thanks, Drake.
He read the note quickly after he finished writing it, and scoffed. He crumpled it, and stuffed it in his pocket. He looked over at Cindy, laughing with a couple of her friends, and smiled. She brushed her hair out of her face, and he noticed that she glanced over at him. Oh god... she saw me staring at her! She probably thinks I'm some sort of creepy stalker. Oh god, oh god, I blew it! She doesn't even know me and I blew it already! He wiped his face with his hands, and once his hands had dropped down to his lap, he noticed someone else sitting alone. Tasha DeLuca.
Drake was afraid of her, as were many other people in Centoria Academy. I'm surprised she doesn't have a live rat or something on her lunch tray... He chuckled to himself, moving his gaze to Kaiden, a somewhat new student. He looked tough, but Drake had noticed he seemed quite friendly. Then, Drake steered his eyes to Zach, Tasha's cousin. He looked like the kind of guy who gets wedgies a lot. I do not envy him, having to live with Tasha. She probably hits him a lot... But before Drake could continue his judgment of everyone in the room, his best, and only, friend, Jack slipped on the bench across from Drake's empty lunch table.
"Oh, hey man." Drake casually said to Jack. "How's it going?" "I'm not gonna say 'jolly' like I know you want me to." Jack laughingly replied. Drake chuckled, smiling.
Jack was a good friend. He had stopped Drake from staring at Cindy for too long many times, and in return Drake often helped him with his homework. They were nearly inseparable, to the point that Drake once heard a rumor that they were "lovers".
"So, how many times did you talk to yourself about Cindy today?" Jack asked. To which Drake replied with a sneer, followed by a chuckle.
"I had a really weird dream last night..." Drake started, trying to change to subject. "I was looking at my calender, and then all of the sudden a date got circled, like I was writing with a pencil or something. The weird thing is that I wasn't holding anything, and my hands were down at my sides anyway. I think the date was the 19th... the prom. Then I looked down at my hands, and they were covered in blood, so i ran into the bathroom, and when I looked in the mirror, my skin looked completely pale, and my eyes were completely gray. It was really weird."
Jack shuddered sticking out his tongue for a second. "Brr... creepy." He said, looking down at his food. "I'm not so hungry all of the sudden."
OOC: There, finally xP

Tasha sat silently in the cacophonous lunchroom, picking at the meager offering of what was supposed to be lasagna on her tray. All around her the room buzzed with chatter and clatter, and she was trying her hardest to separate herself from it all.
I'm a senior... next year I won't have to deal with these idiots every day. I'm going to graduate and be done with all of this juvenile idiocy. she thought darkly, eating a bite of what was passing for Italian food.
The only problem was what she was going to do after that. She had really assumed that.. IT would happen before then. It had looked so imminent, and yet there was still nothing. Of course it wasn't as if she WANTED it to happen. That would be crazy. But, still, it was the waiting that was driving her mad.
A rowdy Sophomore boy bustled past her, bumping into her chair. Though these people aren't making me any SANER...
OOC: Not much, but that's what I've got

It's official! I WILL JOIN!! XD But later. Sadie, Eve, Korrigan, Zoodle, I've told you my projected entrance, yes? I think I should wait to post my character bio until then. Sound good? Or is that against the rules? (For all other's information, yes, I am a newbie. No, I have never rp-ed before. Larped like you wouldn't believe, but rp? not so much.) Talk to you all soon!

OOC: Oh, wow, never RPed before?! I didn't know that. And yeah, that's fine if you want to wait to post your profile until then. Of course, then you'll have to wait quite a while before you can start posting, and that would kill me. xD

IC: Jack took another look at his tray, thinking about what he had last said. "Well, I suppose I could eat it, I mean, it shouldn't go to waste, should it?" Jack picked up his plastic fork, and tackled the lasagna, whispering under his breath "Crumpets... that's how it should be..."
"Why don't you just go and ask her VOCALLY, instead of writing corny letters?" Jack asked, poking at his lasagna a bit. "That's how I used to do it, it WORKS!"
Waiting for a reply, Jack pulled out his school timetable, and located the right day on it. "Bugger, double maths, er, MATH, double MATH!" he said jokingly. Before he took his half-eaten lasagna away to the trash, Jack looked at Drake and said "Roses and chocolates, mate, that's how you do it." and strode away.

OOC: Nice post =D
IC:
Roses and chocolates... why don't I just give her a big ball of cliché... Drake turned to look at Cindy, then he took a bite of his food. It tastes better when I'm looking at her... wait, that's really creepy!
Drake shook his head quickly, trying to get out of his head. He could sometimes control that, but he could never control the staring. The constant staring. He'd been caught a few times staring at things he shouldn't have been, but he couldn't help it. He always had to stare at something, whether it was inappropriate or not. It was one of his many bad habits.
