If you don't care, I think you should be set up with a base already and I had a little trouble putting VIR at the controls so I'm a few minutes behind you. That all right? (because i'm too lazy to describe the base going up ^>^)

I don't care. xD But, I do have ONE MORE QUESTION: what style of writing will we be doing? Traditional RP (you know, with detail and movement incorperated into the text: 'Jill scanned the night sky and sighed, feeling discontented') or like me 'n' Sadie did in our PMs (with not much detail and movement separate from the text or in asteriks: 'Jill: *looks at the sky* I am sooooooo bored...) xD Whadda you think?

I think we should do a detailed RP, so we can get more character into it. After all, we aren't making a movie out of this, so there's no other way to get visual details in. (we should be able to reference the show, though, like "((like when so-and-so said such-and-such in such-and-such))" to get the general feel.)

We'll try for funny of course, but can we have some angst too? I love angst ^>^ y'know, character musings, doubts, etc.

Okie, the base is up, you're in space and we're writing in story format. Right?

Ah, didn't see your latest post. xD Okay, sounds good. (BTW, I have to go soon, so I don't know if we'll be getting very much of the actual RP in tonight. )

OOC:Aw eve, you're going? Poo, no dib-like gasps tonight. *pout* ah well, we'll just have discussion between Joji and Kae. IC: "Finally," Kae muttered as she saw the blue planet not too far off. "YAAAAAAY!!! We're here!" cried VIR, the robot her Tallest had provided her. Kae glanced at Vir rather exasperatedly. The "advanced" robot had proved himself to be rather... well... NOT advanced during the six-month trip. "Here - no thanks to you," she gritted under her breath, half expecting her assistant not to be paying attention. VIR was far too busy being plastered up against the viewscreen yelling "GROIT!!" Kae saw no sign of the other Cruiser descending through the atmosphere of this planet, Earth. Joji was far ahead of her, then; she would probably have the base set up already. Ah, well. "VIR, get off of that before you get fried!" she called to her assistant, who was fiddling with the controls again. Kae had set up a bit of "security" to prevent her sidekick from messing up the ship's trajectory yet again. She clearly remembered the first "mistake"... and the second... and, for that matter, the THIRD! VIR had gotten ahold of the controls and set the cruiser towards Planet Blorch, the home of the slaughtering rat people. After that, they had almost flown into Alpha Proxima; the third time and last before Kae had set up the security, they had flown so many loops that Kae barely managed to not be violently sick all over the control panel. Well, at least VIR hadn't sung the Doom Song like many other malfunctioning SIR units had been known to do. As if Kae's thought had triggered it - "I'm gonna sing the Doom Song," cried VIR. Kae slapped her hand over VIR's mouth area. "Don't you DARE," she grunted. VIR fell silent, grumbling, as the Voot Cruiser began to descend towards Earth. OOC: You wanna post Sadie?

OOC: Ok, since you're offline I'll muse for a while ^>^ IC: Kae glared down at the swiftly approaching planet. It was mostly blue, the color of her partner's unique eyes; it shimmered with an unknown, ominous-looking substance. "Computer. Find Invader Joji and our base, and set our trajectory to their coordinates," she called. "And remove the security on the control panels." VIR couldn't possibly make much doomage on the ship in just a few minutes, she reasoned to herself and turned away to watch the Earth spin by. When she had first recieved VIR, she had been flattered. How kind of the Tallest to grant her a special SIR unit whose green accents complimented her emerald eyes! And such an advanced robot, too; he seemed to have a personality of his own. She was thinking of VIR as a he often now. Green... she thought to herself, seeing isolated spots of the color on the planet below. My eyes. Unique. Like the rest of me. She smiled. And I will bring UNIQUE doom upon this filthy spinning ball of... whatever that blue liquid is. She shuddered, then regained her composure. Both Joji and I are unique, especially in our friendship. I've never heard of two Irkens who have done so much together. ...The Tallest were only pretending to be displeased, I bet. I'm sure they didn't mind SO much that we caused that big collapsing hrung disaster that wiped out half the Smurg population. After all, they've given us this wonderful mission to prove ourselves worthy of a second chance.
Suddenly there was a beeping from behind her. She whirled around to see VIR hopping up and down on the control panel. "VIR!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!!!" she screamed as the cruiser began to dip and twist. "I'M DANCIN'! I'M DOIN' THE DOOM DANCE! YOU WOULDN'T LET ME DO DA DOOM SONG SO I'M DOOMY DANCIN'!!!!!!" "GET OFF THE CONTROLS RIGHT NOW!!!" "I WANNA DANCE!!" "If you dance on the controls there won't be any NEED for doomage!" cried Kae. "WE'LL be the doomed ones!" As she said this, the ship entered Earth's atmosphere at a terrific pace, superhot flames roaring against the windshield as the friction of air pushed against it. It was twisting and diving all over the place as it fell, completely out of control. "VIR, get OFF!!" "YAAAAAAAAY! WE'RE ALL GONNA BLOW UP!!!" screamed VIR happily as the cruiser plunged towards the ground below. Kae, staring horrifiedly through the viewscreen, saw the red dot of the base. "If I can get it to land in an alley or something next to the base - not attract attention -" she grabbed the controls and tapped a few buttons. "Ah, we're going too fast. Guess we're doomed then," she muttered grumpily as the backyard behind the base sped up before them. "VIR, put on your safety harness," she added, fastening hers. "Well, at least it's nighttime. And hey, we're landing in that backyard alley behind the base; could be worse. Could be the street in front of it." There was a large, noisy, and rather spectacular crash/explosion. OOC: Jill, this is your opportunity to look out your window and spot the flames and smoke a few blocks down. ^>^ YEEEEHA! that was fun to write. I ain't gonna crawl out of the wreckage till eve posts. (I decided to crash in the backyard because i wanted to take my time crawling out limb by limb, and just have people see smoke and not any Irkens^>^ funnnn!!! i'm havin' fuunnnnn!)

OOC: I'm going to be Mia instead of Jill because I only just recently realized that Jill sounds like Joji and that could get weird. xD So Mia. 'Sides, it has THREE LETTERS!!! *stares coldly at Sadria for having a FOUR LETTER NAME* xD JK.
It was a still, peaceful sort of night, in the early fall, so the weather still fairly warm. Especially in a suburban little neighborhood, consisting of row upon row of tall, similarly-structured suburban houses in which suburban families slept peacefully... all but one girl, who sat on the windowsill and stared at the stars above, not in the least bit sleepy.
Mia wasn't quite as ordinary as she would appear, with brownish, straight hair and plain hazel eyes. She, unlike the rest of her family, was discontented with her monotonous existence, and wished that something would happen... anything at all, that would add a little spice to this otherwise boring lifestyle. A wish that even now she was thinking of, as she stargazed endlessly, and she heaved a great sigh, contemplating about-- "Hey, what's that?"
There was something up there, soaring downwards at an alarming rate; at first she thought it might be a comet, but then it began weaving all over the place, wildly plummeting earthward... and as it got closer, she saw that it was heading right towards the empty lot a few blocks down-- "That's odd," she mused, brows knitted; she thought she could see the tip of a satelite dish poking out from between two houses, where there should have been nothing but empty space...
Mia's eyes grew wide as the supposed 'comet' hit directly behind the area where she had spotted the satelite with a tremendous BANG, and she gasped aloud; smoke began rising from the ground as she hopped off the windowsill and pulled on a pair of slippers, dashed across the room and threw wide the door... she was going to investigate.

To her absolute shock, her parents hadn't been roused by the huge noise, and she tiptoed past their room and down the stairs, to the front door. As she ran along the sidewalk, drawing ever closer to the site of the crash, she wondered dazedly what in the world could've come spiraling down in the middle of the night and landed right in the middle of their sleepy little neighborhood... and also, why was nobody else awake, after such a commotion?! Finally she reached the spot where, only days ago, there had only been a patch of grass and weeds...
And where now, towering above her, was an odd-looking new house on top of which was perched the self-same satelite dish she'd glimpsed from her window. The whole place seemed... different... and why hadn't they heard noises of construction over the past weeks, when here it stood, in its rather unique completion? But the new home, however perplexing it may seem, was not what she was here for. Feeling guilty about trespassing, Mia snuck through the crack between the houses and peered into the backyard.
"Oh... my... god..."

OOC: aaauuugh! our first sighting by humans!!! filthy earth monkeyz. ^>^ IC: The dust slowly cleared away from the scene, making way for the sparse, cloud-filtered moonlight to glimmer on the twisted heap of metal and plasti-glass in the fenced backyard of the apparent base. It did not illuminate Kae; there was a rather large slab of metal on top of her. It was probably what had kept her from getting fried in the resulting explosion when one of the positron reactors that powered the ship's jets was not-so-amiably introduced to the rather hard ground. Kae had been rather mercifully knocked out cold when VIR had flown into her head. VIR was already on his feet, bouncing away towards the base with little thought for his master. One of the three glowing areas on Kae's Utility Pak began to blink. "Reactivate host Kaezanel," said the computer. A carefully measured amount of electricity surged through Kae's body from the Pak; she spasmed for a second or two, then relaxed again, sufficiently jolted awake. Irkens did not sleep. One emerald-colored eye cracked open, and Kae glanced blearily at her surroundings. Something was wrong, something missing: there was something she had forgotten to do, just before the ship crashed. Ah - that was it! Kae took a deep breath, lifted her head, and screamed and screamed and screamed. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!" There, much better. That felt good. She was feeling more like herself now. She lay there trying to get her breathing under control. It suddenly occured to her that there was a large, rather uncomfortable slab of metal pressing her body to the ground. A spiderlike mechanical leg snaked from the Pak and pushed it away before retracting. Kae levered herself up onto one elbow, panting, and managed to stand up weakly, leaning on one warped piece of metal. Her curled antennae quivered with nerves. It wasn't every day that one's cruiser fell out of the sky and exploded on an alien planet. "VIR!" she called shakily, seeing her robot assistant. "No more sugar for you for THREE DAYS!!!" "Awwww!" whined VIR. "I just wanted to dance!!" "And no dancing either!" she screamed. Then, under her breath, "I wonder where Jo is..." It was only then that she turned around and saw the creature staring at her, wide-eyed. Gah! An Earthanoid! She realized that it had been watching ever since she had been zapped awake. Her emerald eyes went wide - there would be no bluffing out of this. "Er..." she said, straightening her antennae. "Ah, hi."
OOC: That was fun too. Gah, I just can't write Zim humor; drama is my thing. Bear with me guys. ^>^

OOC: That's okay Khizzy, don't know how well I'll do either. xD
'Darn it,' Mia managed to think through her utter and complete disbelief at what lay before her, 'it sees me!' But she was far too shocked to react much to the appearance of a crashed spaceship, a talking robot and a little green alien, and could only gape wordlessly for a moment or two, heart beating wildly.
After she had regained her composure just enough to utter a few words of greeting, she racked her brain for what on earth one was SUPPOSED to say when an alien said hello to you... all she could come up with was, "Guh... wow."
