okay...so...yeah. I think it would help liven up the guild if there were less forums. There aren't that many members, and it can be a pain to sift through all the threads in every forum.
I think we are close to the right track, but there are too many options. For instance instead of:
General -General Board : two welcome threads : an RP : lots of awesome discussions -Discussions and Debates : one topic on dragons : everything else moved
-Greeting threads : lots of hi!
it could be
General Board - General stuff : A welcome thread : an introduction thread : all of the discussions see? cutting down on dead air space already! now onto...
Writing and RPing
- Fantasy RPs : lots of threads - Sci-Fi RPs : two threads
- Other RPs : lots of anime and cartoon stuff
- The Hangout : two threads : one moved
- IC fun! : two threads
- Real Life RPs : two threads
Convert!!!
RPing Forum
Sci-fi, Fantasy, and Other RPs : all the RPs in those Forums - thread count: 23
The Hangout : All of the Real Life RPs : All IC fun RPs : the hangout
- thread count: 6
The Comments and Inquiries forum's subforums could be combined into one, except the news, which should be a separte thing.
The Creative corner also has no need to be seperated.
I really hope this helps!

Though I do see the logic in this, having more sections makes it easier to find what you're looking for, and thus someone might be more likely to start a new thread, since they know for sure that they're posting in the right place.
So it all boils down to what Sadie-face thinks.

Though I do see the logic in this, having more sections makes it easier to find what you're looking for, Actually, it makes it harder. Sometimes things crossover into eachother, and when you aren't sure which one it's in, you spend a long time sifting through all the threads in the forum it isn't in. Also, with the amount of threads we have, some forums become redundant. Notice how many forums have only two threads in them? I counted...there are a total of 5. These five forums are not being used for anything, and the threads in them are rarely looked at because of it. Combining boards would make things simpler.

I would also like to point out that I have experiance. On Gaiaonline, I made a guild. When I thought I had enough members, I started making subforums. I made too many, and the guild died soon after.
Having less subforums means having less to search for. Its like....going to the store. Instead of searching around and going to several different shops, which is tiering and gets very boring, going to one store with everything is more convenient.

*sigh* this is a never eanding argument. Too much eaither way kills, balance must be found, and it cant be found in such a back and forth dicussion. Too many sub forums leaves us with a post a forum, but too few starts crowding out posts and killing threads that might have otherwise thrived. You have to find a balance, or a balance druid. But those things are so damn rare, good luck with that. We moonkin are an elusive folk.

So far... I'm liking this Q dude... I'll have to meet him one of these days. You're so very correct, in case that wasn't just implied, we do need balance.
But really, don't we need balance in everything? Think about it...
Yeah, I know, I'm weird.

hardly. if you have balance on a see-saw, its no fun, no? If you perfectly balance what you make and what you spend, you end up saving nothing. If every druid were balance, we would have no feral tanks. And feral tanks are great, i can unleash my mutant owl fury without having to wait for sunders. Sorry, i make too many balance druid jokes as it is, but this conversation is just making it too easy >.< Anyway, ya, i have a feeling ill be meeting you at some point. Not going into any more details.

But if you balance your checkbook, you'll save millions!
And yeah, if you're going to the show, which I think you are, then I'll see you. Then we can argue face-to-face.

Show? what show?
and I agree about having a balance...putting everything onto one or two would be very bad...
Thats why I made the forum combinations. I put alot of thought into which ones should have what.
...my spacebar is making a clicky noise....

THE show. The show of a century! The magnificent splendid glory of the most high-class show this year! The show that will leave you sobbing, laughing, thinking, and all to the glorious tunes of old! The show that rivals Shakespeare in pure quality! The show with a cast of angels, and a crew of gods! The show that causes the earth to shake, and the heavens to cry out in pure ecstasy!
Meh... I'm hungry... ask someone else.
