OOC: well, it isn't very good yet. Just have him go to the common rom or his dormitory or something. That's all we've done yet.
btw, did you have any plot ideas? Because I think that Prof. Antony should have something to do with it

OOC: I'm thinking that Prof Antony should just be involved in some way so that there's a reason for him to go away after the year's over, whether he just leaves or.... something ELSE happens!!! DUN DUN DUN!!!

ooc: I think the last time I posted ic on this one was 6 months ago lol.. anyways..
ic: James and I walked up the stairs as they rotated around. "These things make me dizzy," James complained as the staircase shifted towards a door ahead of them. "Did we go the right way," James questioned looking at the door in front of them. "Well it has the slytherin emblem on it," I replied looking at it. "I guess, but aren't we kinda missing something." I studied the door and the distance from it to us carefully.
The problem was that the staircase stopped a good ten feet from the door, leaving a deep abyss in front of us. "Hey, old lady," I shouted at the painting, with an old looking witch in it. "Did someone mess with the spell on this staircase?" The portrait's expression turned to one of disgust from the question. "Mr. Minister," she spoke in a strong English accent, "you out of all students should know that your trust should be strong."
"So we won't fall?" James asked curiously. "Not if your trust is strong enough," the portrait replied. I looked down into my back and lifted out my father's novel. "Let's try this first," I said tossing the book out in front of me. "Uhh," James muttered as the book descending down into the darkness. "That's not trust!" the portrait scolded, "that's doubt!"
"Your book!" James exclaimed as the book floated back up. I sighed with boredom and took a step onto the invisible ground, "impressive," I muttered to myself as I grabbed the book out of the air. "Adrian," James said in astonishment, "you're walking on air."
By this point, you have already noticed that James was perhaps not the brightest person. In affect, the only way he could seem to be somewhat smart was to say things that he knew to be fact. Unfortunately, the only things he knew to be facts were the things that were undeniable, such as things incredibly obvious to others.
I walked to the door and muttered the password. The door slowly opened, revealing a new hallway. I turned around, once I was on the visible stone ground again. "Come on James," I said watching him, he looked quite skeptical but took a step onto the invisible ground. "This is really creepy," he said looking up at me.
I looked down at my book with a grin, "I'll see you in the dorm, James." He looked at me suspiciously, "what are you doing?" I replied with a sinister grin, "I'm going to the dorm while you take a little trip. His eyes widened with fear as I tossed the book at his feet. "No!" he shouted as the spell made the bridge vanish.
I watched laughing as he descended. It make take a while for him to float back up since he has a larger mass.

OOC: HURRAH! ^^ What a great coming-home-from-vacation present! And that would make it my turn... I would now, but I'm tired as heck from travelling all day (I went to sleep at two and I got up at seven -.-) and anything I wrote would be krap. I'll see if I can squeeze in time tomorrow, but I have so much homework to catch up with from the week I was gone... ~.~ Anyway, thanks for posting, Ace! <3

OOC: Hmm... you'd have to consult Ace, because he already has the villain character who's trying to sabotage (you almost spelled it right! ^.~) the competition. I bet you could be a teacher, though! ^^ Youse would have to ask the other peeps who are in the RP.
*coff* On an unrelated note, I got very little sleep because my friends and I had a sleepover (and lord knows nobody actually SLEEPS during a sleepover XD), I just spent hours watching the first season of Scrubs, and it's very hot outside. Therefore, I'm very tired, extremely braindead, and sweating like nothing else. ... Just thought I'd list the reasons why this post is going to be crap. ^^ But what they hey, I need to catch up.
IC:
The sun peered over edge of the windowsill, and Bailey's eyes slowly fluttered open. She was generally a morning person, and the added excitement of it being the first day of school made it even easier for her to roll out of bed. She changed into her robe, combed and braided her hair, packed her textbooks into her shoulder bag, and finally, headed down - far earlier than most of her colleagues - to the great hall for breakfast.
As she arrived at the Hufflepuff table and sat down, she was glad to see that the plates were already waiting for her. She spooned porridge into her bowl and filled her goblet with pumpkin juice, and quietly ate while she continued to think about the tournament. I wonder when sign-ups'll start... I hope I'm not making a mistake... thought really, it's probably not very likely I'll be selected anyway... I can name a dozen Hufflepuffs who would do a better job than I... but the money would mean so much to mum, and Darien and Hazel... oh, bother, I'm just talking myself in circles.
She looked up as someone shouted her name, and saw that it had been Hagrid, waving at her from the front of the hall where the professors sat. She grinned and waved back, thoughts of the Cup momentarily dispelled. Hagrid could always make her feel better... he was just so warm and kind, and she was thrilled for another year of Care of Magical Creatures with him. He always told her she showed a lot of promise in the field; occasionally, they even shared a cup of tea in his hut by the Forbidden Forest.
More people were beginning to filter into the hall, and Bailey finished her last bites of porridge just as her friends arrived and sat down around her. "That's Bae," laughed Lynette as she sat down, "early to bed and early to rise." Bailey giggled and bid them all a cheerful good morning, then settled back in her seat, keeping an eye on the enormous doors to see if she could spot Alita, Flicka or Adrian. It might be nice, she thought, to at least say hello.
OOC: I don't know where the showers are in Hogwarts, or whether everyone just uses some kind of spell for hygiene. XD So I just sort of omitted it for now. If anyone wants to take affirmative action on the subject in their 'waking up' post, I'd be more than grateful. ^^ Also, if I'm not mistaken, Gryffindors and Slytherins have classes together, and Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws have classes together.
