ic: Karkais jumped up from where he was formerly sitting. He picked up his snout into the air sniffing for a scent that had cought his attention, "what is that familiarity," his voice boomed. "Taliesin," he muttered as he realized what the smell was "what is he doing here?"
Taliesin tunred the corner at the edge of the street and left Loni's and Noko's view. To be truthful he didn't want them coming along no matter how skilled they were. Karkais was the most powerful foe he had ever encountered and he didn't want anyone in the way of his unfinished fight, besides, neither of them looked very promising in combat.

OOC: Ooooooh, if Loni knew he was thinking that............ IC:
Loni saw Taliesin leave, and she could see he was headed somewhere with purpouse. Could it be something important? "I'm sorry Noko... I have to go. Thanks for your hospitality... and all that..." She was already on her way, and her mind was elsewhere.
She quietly followed the fighter, wondering what he could be up to. I'm too nosy for my own good sometimes... But, she recalled, it sometimes led to good things. If I hadn't been evesdropping, I never would have met Eve and Derik. This gave her a bit of confidnce, but she didn't know why.
Taliesin sensed Loni's presence draw nearer as he wandered down the street where he imagined Karkais would be soon. I guess she wants more then just a cat to be killed by curiousity, he thought knowing that it must've been just pure curiousity that made Loni follow him though he clearly made no indication he needed her help. Not only Loni's presence drew nearer, but he could sense the villainous evil of Karkais drawing in on his location; soon he would be in sight. Just a little bit before he could not sense Karkais but now he was sending out a mental call to Taliesin; one that could only faintly be heard. Taliesin wondered what could of gave it away to Karkais that he was here. "Stop now or prepare to fight," Taliesin said unsheathing his sword. He wondered if Loni actually heard him from as far back as she was but she would no doubt see his sword. Though he doubted her he would just as well fight alongside her then a god of war; he didn't care how skilled they were becuase there life was their own to do with it as they pleased. And if that meant that they wanted to fight some giant beast then so be it.
In the distance ahead of Taliesin a dark figured creature appeared; turning on their dusty street from an alleyway. His wicked snout wrinkled at the sight of the feared assassin, "Taliesin," he growled in a low roar that traveled all the way down the street so that even Loni could hear.

When Loni saw his sword flash in the light she gripped the hilt of her own. A battle would be coming. Finally, something worthwhile!
She didn't draw her sword immediately, but stood ready for when whatever would happen. Yet, when the cloaked figure came into sight, she wasn't ready. Something about him made the hair stand up on the back of her neck. I've faced evil before... and this is certainly it.
She gripped her sword tighter when the evil thing spoke, her stomach turning a flip. What have I gotten myself into?
OOC: Hello! I am so sorry! My mind doesn't like me lately! You know, I kind of want to make Noko come and get in the way of things. *smirk* I wonder how that would turn out. She'd probably end up tailing Taliesin, and dragging Loni along. WEE!! Me's just got idea! (I have such horrible OOC grammar)
IC: Noko sighed, looking around. "That's just great, now I'm all alone. They're probably having quite a bit of fun right now," she said in disappointment. Something finally dawned upon her. Wait a minute! If they're fighting that weirdo that the stranger was searching for they could be in trouble. Loni didn't know about how scary he is. She might be running into something way too dangerous. I want to trust that the two of them can handle it, but...maybe not. I mean I don't know anything about that other guy. Noko spun on her heels in the direction in which Loni and Taliesin went, and began sprinting off.
She searched left and right down multiple alleyways. No one could be found. It wasn't surprising though, considering night was falling. She froze mid-step when she heard one of the most stomach wrenching voices ever to strike her ears. Noko's eyes shook, being the only moving part of her body. What if they already found him? She bolted toward the voice, turning into the alley screaming, "LONI! Maybe you shouldn't-"
Bad. Very bad. It's HIM! Noko cried out in her mind. Her hand quivered, as she dared herself to grab Loni's arm and run for it, but the frightening form of Karkais made her entire brain stop working. So this was the terror of her village. Now it made sense that no one had defeated him. Noko took slow baby-steps toward Loni, muttering, "L-Loni...m-maybe we sh-should go...maybe you should come too sir..." she looked over to Taliesin, "H-He's a lot...more frightening then I thought he'd b-be..."

"Leave now if you choose to," Taliesin said with one last glance back at the two of them. Het turned back towards the fearsome Karkais, "what are you waiting for?" he called out. Hatred and killer intent burned in Karkais' eyes as began to proceed towards Taliesin, "so finally it has come to be my turn to be hunted by the likes of you," he said with a bone rattling rumble.Taliesin made no reply but dug his feet into the ground; he did not intend on losing any ground in this fight. From Loni and Noko's perspective, the giant beast was too much of a match for the cloaked assassin; his size was atleast two feet taller and his frame carried more muscle then seemed possible. Karkais stopped his long strides short from Taliesin by about ten feet, "Are you ready?" he growled. The tension between the two could practically be felt by the two onlookers, like a mysterious aura that drown everything else out.
ooc: kinda funny Keeney, you get to see Karkais in action in two situations... here and at FE on BA.. against Evelyn; but he's even more of the clear favorite on that one lol.. we're not in an alley btw.. out on a street..
